Andorra
Andorra is a fantastic value country to head to, on your next ski holiday. Almost all of Andorra is geared towards winter tourism, so you can expect high quality resorts, which have benefited from masses of investment. Ski holidays here are much cheaper than at other Alpine resorts, found in the likes of France and Austria, making it perfect for new skiers, as well as those looking for a budget holiday.
The low cost has also ensures that the ski resorts across Andorra benefit from a lively nightlife scene, to be enjoyed as much or as little as you want, or can handle! All of the ski resorts in Andorra are linked, so there’s plenty of off piste and pistes to enjoy.
Bulgaria
A ski holiday in Bulgaria is an excellent option for skiers looking to combine world class skiing, with excellent value. A trip to the ski resorts of Bulgaria comes at a fraction of the cost of a stay at some of the more expensive resorts across the Alps. A recent study showed that a Ski Holiday in Bulgaria for a family, costs a staggering £3,500 less than a ski holiday in France.
Because Bulgaria provides a much cheaper way of skiing, it’s ideal for beginners – and as such, all of the resorts include excellent english speaking ski schools – making it ideal for beginner skiing, and family ski trips alike. Accommodation across Bulgaria is all of a good standard, with the only real sacrifice VS the Alps is a smaller ski area – which will deter beginner and intermediate skiers very little. Infrastructure across the resorts is continually improving with more modern lifts being installed all of the time, there’s also a vibrant restaurant and nightlife scene which again combines excellent value with quality food.
