Residence Le Machu Pichu Apartment Details

All of the apartments available within the complex have either a private balcony or a terrace -allowing guests to enjoy the stunning views of Val Thorens ski area and the wider resort.

Regardless of the number of bedrooms in each apartment, each apartment has a dedicated living area with a LCD TV with some English channels. There’s also a kitchenette in each apartment, which allows for guests to prepare their own meals.

Residence Le Machu Pichu Apartment Sizes

There’s two types of apartments available in Le Machu Pichu – with the smallest apartment sleeping five people, and the larger of the apartments sleeping six. Although these apartments do have a large capacity – many customers book these apartments for less people, and do not use the bunk beds or sofa beds. The great value that these apartments represent allow for this.

The first apartment type for five people has one bedroom, containing one single bed and one bunk bed, with the other bed being a sofa bed in the living room. The second type of apartment, which sleeps six has a double bed or 2 single beds in a bedroom, a double sofa and a bunk bed in a sleeping alcove.

Most of our customers who stay at Le Machu Pichu choose to stay on a self catering basis, allowing them to split their time between cooking and staying in – and eating out. This is the ideal choice for families and groups who want to spend time doing both, as well as for larger parties. There’s a restaurant on site, which means that these apartments are available to book on a bed and breakfast or half board basis also.

Le Machu Pichu is located towards the bottom of the resort in Val Thorens – and it also enjoys ski in/ski out access allowing you to ski to and from the door of the apartments. The location of the apartments is great, and all of the resorts facilities, amenities and most importantly – bars and restaurants are all closeby

Residence Le Machu Pichu Wellness and Relaxation Area

Guests can enjoy the wellness and relaxation area at the residences’ sister residence Les Temples du Soleil which is next door (charges apply). Here there is a sauna, hammam, two hot tubs as well as a gym. Meaning that there’s not only the perfect way to unwind after a hard day on the slopes, there’s also plenty to do in the for non-skiers.

Val Thorens Ski Pass & Hire

As part of your stay at Le Machu Pichu, we can build in Ski Pass, Ski Hire and even Ski Lessons as part of your holiday package, allowing you not only to save money on these services but also plan on your holiday expenditure.

There is an automated ski pass machine close the residence where you can collect your prepaid lift passes from with a code. The ski hire shop is just up the road which means a hassle-free first day skiing.
