At Get me to the Alps, we have been long term fans of the Village Montana Apartments – all of the apartments are well equipped, comfortable and feature a classic chalet style which adds to the ambience of a ski trip to Val Thorens.

You can add half board at the Village Montana for £200 per adult, £100 per child up to 12 years old, and free for under 4's. For this, you get 7 nights 3-course evening meals and 7 mornings of buffet breakfasts. This represents extremely good value for a ski resort and there are no nights off like in a catered chalet.

The restaurant is called La Grange and is 100m from the Village Montana.

The evening meal is a set menu every day which consists of local Savoyard cuisine (including some speciality dishes). If you don't fancy what is on offer then you can choose from a list of other dishes.

Breakfast is buffet style (bacon, eggs, cold meat, cheese, cereals, bread & croissants, yoghurt, cold & hot drinks etc).

It really is incredible value and takes care of breakfast and evening meals for the entire week.

There’s a range of roomy and excellent value apartments available to choose from, and these apartments cater for those travelling alone and in couples – right across to larger parties. One bedroom apartments sleep two to three people on a smaller scale, and then apartments increase in size up to four bedroom apartments which can sleep 8. The apartments which can sleep six also have fires in them – which can transform the experience of staying in Val Thorens.

Guests staying at the Village Montana residence have access to the 5* Plein Sud Spa (200m from the residence) for €20 per visit. The spa has a large indoor heated pool, as well as jacuzzi, sauna and hammam. Treatments such as massages and facials are available at an extra cost.
